Hollywood actor income chart, 'Giant Stone' tops with $88 million

Forbes released the 2024 Hollywood Actor Income List on February 28th, with "Mega Stone" Johnson returning to the top spot after a four-year hiatus with an income of $88 million, followed closely by Ryan Reynolds and Kevin Hart. Johnson's main source of income comes from streaming revenue. Despite poor reviews and box office performance, the film "Red One: Winter Action," starring him, had a record breaking 50 million views in its first weekend on streaming platforms. Johnson earned as much as $50 million from this film. His remaining income comes from "Ocean Romance 2" and other old films he has starred in.

Ryan Reynolds, who worked with Johnson in the movie "Red Notice," ranked second on the list with $85 million, and his income mainly comes from "Deadpool and Wolverine. Johnson's other old partner Kevin Hart ranked third with $81 million. As a comedian, he appeared in multiple movies and TV series (Borderlands, Action Superstar 2, etc.) in 2024, as well as performing in 90 solo comedy shows.

On this list, the total income of "Giant Rock" Johnson, Ryan Reynolds, and Kevin Hart exceeds the total income of other actors in the top ten. In addition, there were no young movie stars on the list this year, with the youngest being 40 year old "Black Widow" Scarlett Johansson (ranked 19th with $21 million). The highest earning female star is Nicole Kidman, 57 years old, who ranks eighth with $31 million.
